Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation partners with Cottage Worthington to help facilitate the purchase of social outings for our seniors to help them engage with the community.

Participating as active members of the community, and normalizing their life, is critical for older adults to maintain independence, and dignity, and engage in a healthy social life. And addressing the challenges of loneliness is something we need to continue to work on to ensure we can create positive health outcomes in our long-term facilities.

A small act of kindness for just $20 per month will help older adults participate in social outings. Your gift will go towards the purchase of ice cream, treats or visits to a ticketed social event in the Fraser Valley.

With your meaningful support, for a cause close to your heart, we can help seniors achieve a greater feeling of productivity by means of increased social activity.
