Golf tournament raises $20,000 for local hospitals

Funds go to CT scanners for Abbotsford and Chilliwack

The recent Golfing “Fore” Your Local Hospital Tournament raised more than $20,000 for hospitals in the eastern Fraser Valley.

The sold-out event, on June 22 at the Chilliwack Golf Club (CGC), was held in support of the Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation (FVHCF).

Proceeds are designated towards the purchase of new CT scanners for Abbotsford and Chilliwack.
